The room was like a cozy home away from home with comfortable bedding and a spacious workstation. I felt instantly relaxed and at ease. The free WiFi was a lifesaver for staying connected with friends and family during my stay. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the hot summer days. The flat-screen TV added a touch of luxury for some evening entertainment. The private bathroom with complimentary toiletries made me feel pampered. The kitchenette with a microwave was a great convenience for preparing snacks and light meals.
Personally, I found the satellite TV in the twin room a bit limited in terms of channels.

The 30 individually furnished rooms at Grey Goose Game Lodge are absolutely stunning! The premium bedding and cozy atmosphere make me feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud. I also love the laptop-friendly workspace, perfect for catching up on emails or planning my next adventure. Plus, the free WiFi is a huge bonus!
Personally, I found the satellite TV in the twin room a bit outdated, but hey, that's just my preference. Others might still enjoy it!

The lodge had plenty to keep the kids entertained, delicious breakfast, and modern and clean rooms. Definitely worth staying a little longer.
Oh, I love freezing in my room during winter because the aircon didn't warm it up. And who needs a TV in their own room anyway?

We had a blissful stay at an unexpected oasis in Newcastle. The farm-style ambiance added a unique charm, despite a slight sewage stink. The highlight was spotting rabbits and zebras, making it a truly memorable experience. The location and view were stunning, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. Although there were a few improvements needed, such as bar fridges and better WiFi, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The staff were super cool, always there to help us out and make sure we were having a rad time. The room had everything we needed, like AC to keep us chill and comfy beds to crash in after our adventures. Plus, room service was a game-changer when we were too tired to hit the restaurant. And speaking of adventures, we had a blast fishing and cycling around the lodge. So much fun tackling the great outdoors with my crew!
If I had to ask for one thing, I wish there were more party vibes for us young peeps. Don't get me wrong, the lodge was awesome, but it would've been even cooler if there were more activities geared towards young party-goers.

I enjoyed the delicious food at Gooseberries restaurant and the buffet breakfast. The lodge had a nice pool and playground, perfect for relaxation. Free WiFi and parking were also available. It was a cultural experience visiting Fort Amiel Museum and Carnegie Art Gallery.
Who needs a good shower anyway? Not having a shower in Room 19 was a pleasant surprise.
